DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY
Ultimoo propellers
Its innovative design incorporates since 2004 the theory of ‘aspect ratio’ in the development of the blades, adding more efficiency to forward performance as a reverse.
Undoubtedly they have the most efficient design in the market, adding more performance and duration at a lower price.
ULTRA LIGHT
Ultimoo propellers are undoubtedly the lightest in the market, reducing considerably the weight of the set (3,800 Kg. In the largest dimension) thus extending the useful life of the transmitting elements.
SOFTNESS AND SPEED
The design of the blades grants great smoothness of march and maximum speed reducing the habitual apopamiento in propellers of elliptical or parallel blades. Its sharp leading edge generates a perfect cut of water.
NO TURBULENCE
When sailing, its folding is TOTAL, so it significantly reduces drag, eliminating all kinds of turbulence on the rudder blade. The overlapping of sectors in the blades ensures the simultaneous opening in advance as in reverse.

ULTIMOO: INSULATORS OF THE PROPELLER SYSTEM
INSULATORS OF THE PROPELLER SYSTEM
The Ultimoo propellers act as an insulator of the propeller system (sail drive) in constant time.
The elimination of the galvanic couple and the isolation of the system, extend in years the useful life of the whole and all its components both in fresh water or sea.
The Ultimoo propellers significantly reduce the cost of maintenance by replacement of anodes, paint and movements in dry dock.
We recommend the use of original ZINC anodes, Ultimoo propellers do not require antifouling paint.
METALLIC: TRUE VOLTAIC BATTERIES
The traditional metallic propellers act as true voltaic batteries, eroding the components of the entire propulsion system (sail drive) in constant time, they are perfect current transmitters whether or not the propulsion system is used.
They generate wear of the fasteners, since the current corrodes the fillets of the locks, producing the partial loss of elements: anodes, shovels until the total drop of the propeller.
The metals require a permanent maintenance of anodes, antifouling paint, adjustment and their subsequent movement of dry dock generating a significant cost since they are usually made several times a year.

ULTIMOO: INERT TO THE EFFECTS OF POLLUTION
Ultimoo helices are inert to the effects of contamination of the aqueous medium, both in sea or fresh water. The contamination and its consequent alterations of the PH do not affect the composites either chemically or physically, as they do not corrode, maintaining their superficial finish.
They do not require antifouling paint or surface protection, remaining stable for years.
METALLIC: CHEMICAL AND PHYSICAL ALTERATIONS
The traditional metallic helices suffer the chemical and physical alteration in their matter, generating superficial alterations that facilitate incrustations and structural deformations that alter their correct functioning.

ULTIMOO: THE IDEAL PROFILE
METALLIC: GREATER THICKNESS
The effect of cavitation is produced by the difference in pressure between the faces of the blades, it is basically a constant bubbling that varies with the design of the profiles. A greater thickness increases this effect but decreases the erosion that hatches on the surface of the metal blades generating imprints that damage the surface and corrode the edges of attack.
A greater thickness of the leading edge increases this cavitation effect but decreases the erosion, generating another undesired effect of vibration.

ULTIMOO: DESIGNED AND MADE OF COMPOSITE IN ITS ENTIRETY
The Ultimoo propellers are the only ones designed and manufactured entirely in composite: core and blades. Composite materials are not altered by the effects of galvanic couple, hydrolysis or cavitation.
Maintaining its surface finish, which with the periodic use of the propeller (monthly) gives off all kinds of circumstantial microorganic adhesion: self-cleaning.
We have detected situations of important adhesions in boats that were not used for years and the detachment of the cracks was done in minutes returning to its initial state without leaving any trace of incrustation.
Again, we recommend not painting our propellers with antifouling.
METALLIC: ALTERATIONS THAT GENERATE DEFORMATIONS
They produce alterations that generate deformations, in principle superficial, where the microorganisms begin to embed themselves and develop deforming the surfaces that alter the operation of the propeller.
This common, simple and constant effect requires permanent work: removal, burnishing, polishing and painting with antifouling.
Removing material that alters the surfaces and decrease the duration.
